Boost is BigScoots’s baseline performance service, powered by Cloudflare Enterprise and the BigScoots Cache Plugin. It is the foundation that all other Performance Services are built upon. With Boost, your website benefits from advanced caching, image optimization, and security features that our team installs and configures, which means no extra work for you.
Every Boost subscription also includes the BigScoots Cache Plug-in for WordPress, set up and optimized specifically for Cloudflare Enterprise. While this plugin is included free with our Managed Hosting for WordPress plans, it differs significantly because it’s fully configured for maximum performance and has a much higher cache hit ratio than the free version of Cloudflare.

Most sites are set up within a few moments. But if BigScoots doesn’t currently manage your DNS, or you have some non-standard setup of some sort, the team may need to work more closely with you to get things up and running.
Absolutely not! Boost won’t break your site, as our team fully configured it to ensure your site remains stable while optimizing performance.
No! While Boost is typically handled via a CNAME record that requires flattening, we can use an A Record (IP) instead if you are using your other DNS providers, such as Azure, Route53, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.
