A good site host – Having a reliable hosting service Is what gives your website a strong foundation. Server time can largely impact your speed and it won’t be in your control. I’ve had dozens of hosts, BigScoots is clearly the best value, reliable managed host out there. I’ve been with BigScoots for many years. They’re an excellent alternative to companies like WP Engine and way better than companies like HostGator. I’ve had major sites that had sister sites that weren’t hosted by BigScoots. I really like how they alarm their customers about things that are not directly related to their business but can affect the customers. For example, once they warned against updating to a certain WP version because it was not stable enough. Good job!
We’ve been with BigScoots for a few years and their customer service is the best there is. We’ve been hosted by other companies before, I’d rate their service as average to pretty bad. Some took hours to get back to me, some even a day or two. One of the most well-known US hosting companies, in fact, was the worst of them all. When I ask the BigScoots team a question, I get a reply literally in minutes. Best thing is, for those with technophobia like me, we don’t get treated like we’ve got a mental disability.
